Two young Aussie designers are redefining the Australian matching tracksuit and other go-to everyday staples, by creating pieces which are highly comfortable, stand the test of time, and are designed and made in Australia. 

For Olivia and Ebany, designing cute and cosy pieces such as the perfectly matching fleecy tracksuit, has been a true labour of love and is already fast becoming Ellore’s flagship pieces.  They are Melbourne made and printed and features a thick fleece inner lining for extra warmth.

“Ever since we were cooped up at home for months and some having years in lockdown, comfort has definitely taken priority when it comes to fashion.
Being able to work from home gave everyone the freedom of wearing whatever they want. Wearing business attire from the waist up was all that was required at best when on video calls and it made people dig out their most comfortable items of clothing. Following the lockdowns we think the damage is done as far as choosing comfort over everything else which we are all for.”

For Ebany, there are some simple mistakes to avoid when choosing the perfect tracksuit. 

Cheap normally equals poor quality. No matter the colour, design or price of the tracksuits, investing in a poor-quality set is a regrettable mistake. In our opinion, you should not purchase a garment that does not feel high quality and comfortable to you, regardless of how vibrant or appealing it may appear on a website. You must find a reliable and reputable clothing label to purchase premium quality garments from. Read descriptions, care instructions and sizing info the garments should have the best colour quality and fabric possible. It’s important to remember, however, that expensive stuff is usually better quality. Due to this, even if your budget is tight, you should choose good-quality garments. The alternative to spending less and buying low quality products is to spend more in the long term as opposed to buying one quality matching set.”
